There’s no such thing as ‘diverse’ talent.
There’s just talent.
That’s part of the message my latest guest is trying to get out there and hopefully, our conversation will help spread it in some small way.
Indeed, it’s an absolute pleasure to share this latest episode of The All Good Copy Podcast with you, in which I talk to entrepreneur, campaigner and journalist, Joanna Abeyie.
Joanna runs a firm that helps companies in the creative industry tackle the challenges of diversity. She helped found the APPG for Creative Diversity. And she speaks around the world.
I found her story fascinating and without being too waffy about it, inspiring too. Maybe I’m getting soft in my old age, but I find it nice when people are nice. So, there you go.
We talk about understanding the challenges people from different backgrounds face, why diversity is a troublesome word and how to have more self-confidence.
I hope you find it as interesting as I did recording it.
