I thought I’d post a quick snap of your editor on holiday in Montmartre…
And I’ll actually start posting a few more ‘little windows’ into my life as writer as I hope it will remind you to remember why you write copy in the first place.
You see, we stayed in a hotel next to the Bateau Lavoir, which is the famous studio that was sometime home to the likes of Picasso and Modigliani…
And it’s relaxing (whilst still cultural) breaks like this that I write copy for.
Indeed, as I say, it’s important to remember sometimes why you write copy at all.
For me, strolling in the hills of Montmartre, enjoying a bottle of wine overlooking Paris and dining in family-run restaurants where they don’t speak English (or accept credit cards) reminds me to be thankful that I chose to learn and master this strange skill.
A little thought to remember then… never forget why you write copy!
